You have access to the eBooks of more than 100 platforms - from bookstores, libraries and publishers. Regardless of whether you have acquired your eBooks from dealers such as Ciando, Buecher.de, Jokers, Lehmanns or Schweitzer. Regardless of whether you bought your eBooks directly in the shops of publishers such as the Süddeutsche Zeitung, Hogrefe or Hans Huber. Under the "New Books" tab you will find a list of all platforms currently involved - booksellers, publishers and libraries.

The app is a classic ereader with which you can read and manage eBooks previously bought. You can go directly into your customer account from the app and download your eBooks - regardless of which of the platforms involved you have acquired your eBooks. It is not possible to buy eBooks from the app. This can only be done by calling a shop page over the browser.
The app is suitable for all devices, tablets PCs and smartphones, from Android version 2.2. The app supports copy protection-free eBooks in EPUB and PDF format, eBooks with watermarks and all eBooks with the copy protection Adobe DRM.

The functionalities of the ciando eBook Reader app are very simple:
The "Library" tab will get to the overview of your book titles, which you have already downloaded. You can manage your eBooks in your library and sort them by date, title and author.
You can get all the common reader functions from the "Read" tab: Table of contents, bookmarks, notes, search function and individual setting options for reading (font size, font and background color, line spacing, night mode, screen brightness).
